The new year has brought adventure to Emily in the form of a trip to Papaw's deer lease. Although hunting season has passed Nonna and Papaw still love going out and bringing the family to target shoot. The great outdoors and nearby animals put the thought that maybe Emily would like being out there so Brian and I decided to let her take her first trip to the lease. We stayed home with Avery as she is still too young and would probably only want to be carried the whole time. Nervous about her being there the whole weekend I packed every book and video that I thought she would love to take along and keep her attention if bored. I had no reason to worry as according to all who was out there Emily had a great time and loved the cows and horses.
