The Beach at Port Aransas

The time has come to go to the beach!  Nonna and Alyssa took Emily and Avery out to Port Royal Resort in Port Aransas for a day at the beach.  The Hagy family came in from Washington D.C. for a little summer vacation so the girls got to see little Andrew and have a playmate for the day.  Emily loved the ferry ride out the island but Avery not so much.  They both began with fun at the resort in the swimming pools playing with their dinosaurs.  Afterwards they walked down to the beach and played with the sand and the water.  Emily loved the water but did not like the sand.  She loved to squish her feet all around it but when it got on her hands she quickly ran to the water to wash it off.  Avery liked the beach for a short time but then quickly got over it and wanted to go home.  They both loved playing with Andrew and made a new friend.

Summer Time 2013 Begins

Summer has arrived and the girls are having a great time at home and at school.  New classes started at the end of May with Avery heading to the 3 year old class and Emily going into Pre-K.  Avery was ready to go into her class because in the three year old class students are allowed to play on the big playground with the slides.  Emily was a little nervous at first but is now doing so good and comes home and proudly announces that she didn't cry at school.  Now that the summer is here we are super busy with school, birthdays, and work but we love that Nonna and Alyssa are off for the summer and give the girls a break from school by taking them on small trips.  The summer just started but we are excited to see what fun times lie ahead.
